Rebranding an Australian Design Agency
Role: UI/Visual Designer
Tools: Figma
Client: Confidential (Australian design agency)
Timeline: 2 weeks
Project Overview
The client — a creative agency in Australia — was rebranding to better reflect their energetic, modern identity. Their previous branding felt safe and outdated. They wanted their new site to embody boldness, visual flair, and clarity.
Objective
Design a loud, vibrant, and contemporary homepage that captures the agency’s dynamic spirit, reflects their services in a no-nonsense way, and stands out visually from other agencies in the space.
Problem Statement
While the agency had strong creative output, their existing website did not convey their design chops or bold brand values. The challenge was to balance visual expression with usability, making something eye-catching that still guides users toward learning more and contacting them.
Design Process
Created two visual directions:
-
Concept 1: High-contrast, geometric, modular, bright (approved)
-
Concept 2: Softer, editorial, toned-down (rejected as too quiet)

Final Design
(Concept 1)
The approved homepage features:

-
Hero Section: Bold typography with a clear CTA, layered with energetic graphic accents
-
The Art of Less Doing: Framed as a unique positioning statement
-
How It Works Section: Clean 3-step process, easy to scan
-
Portfolio Previews: Uses overlays and color modulation to spotlight case studies
-
Call-to-Action Strip: “Do Less. Get More.” as a repeated visual mantra
-
FAQ: Interactive accordion-style list with injected color for rhythm
-
Footer: Structured, bold, and brand-consistent with playful icon accents

Results + Reflections
-
Client approved Concept 1 after first round — citing how “it finally feels like us.”
-
The modular layout now allows for easy content updates and section swaps
-
The tone of the site now matches their portfolio: high-energy, confident, creative
